Quest Sports Science Center and Level 2 Sports have partnered to “build better athletes through science.” Level 2 Sports helps student-athletes, boys and girls in middle and high school recognize their goals, unlock their potential, prepare them for life and soar to the next level. The level 2 sports website, www.level2sports.com, provides an easy to follow timeline blueprint for student-athletes in order to help them meet their aspirations and to play sports at the next level.

Purpose: To identify each athlete's strengths, deficits and injury risks to enhance performance to the highest level with reduction of preventable injuries.

How: Through sport specific, science based tests and assessments performed by experienced, licensed, certified professionals as follows:

We “build better athletes through science” by:

• Initial online fitness assessment
• One on one and/or group evaluations
• Program design
• Collaboration with coaches, trainers and other professionals to implement programs
• Clinics/workshops
• Sports specific Fundamentals of Sports Nutrition booklets

Packages:

Field/Group Assessments

Cost : $ 110.00 per athlete (minimum 12, maximum 24 athletes/ assessment day).

Includes:

• Initial team assessment : The assessment and education the same day including each athlete receiving individual results and information to begin corrections and improvements.
• Coaches Report : Summarization of individual and group results by position with recommendations of plan for improvement (within ten days).
• Team Training Session : A session to teach appropriate exercises and drills to begin to correct the deficits identified in the team assessment (usually within two weeks post).
• Follow up Assessment : Re-assessment of up to five key tests of the team members to measure improvements and need for training plan changes (2 months post assessment).

Group In-Lab Assessment

Cost : $ 450.00 per athlete, $350 for Level 2 Sports subscribers (minimum 3, must all come at one time). Please allow 2 ½ -3 hours for this assessment.

Includes:

• Nutrition Assessment: Determines types, timing and amounts of food and fluids.
• Physiologic Assessment: VO2 Max test.
• Biomechanics Assessment: Injury-risk assessment.

Booklets:

Our booklets are a quick reference guide about 20 pages in length and easily fit in an athlete's bag for quick access and use.  They are written in a simple to understand, user-friendly language so athletes are able to understand the basics and importance of nutrition with respect to sports performance.  After reading the booklet, the athlete will be able to implement simple strategies to improve practice, game and race/tournament play.

• Individual Performance and/or Injury Assessment: One on one tests which are detailed, specific and include lab testing, video taping and measurements
• Train the Trainer Programs: designed for education and training of coaches, exercise professionals, trainers to learn: injury risk identification and management; science based power, agility and speed building techniques; exercise, drills to build strength, flexibility and balance; how to manage energy deficits, nutrition and hydration
